Canadian ELCIC LinksThe Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada is the major Canadian representative of the traditions of the Lutheran reformation of the catholic Christian church. This site contains a wealth of information about Lutheranism including the creeds we confess as Christians. The Eastern Synod is one of five synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, consisting of 208 member congregations and 78,000 baptized members. The territory of the Eastern Synod runs from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Lutherans Connect is a place to come for discussion,

and Angels on the Internet. Other Saint Ansgar LinksA congregation of the ELCIC, Eastern Synod A church in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Has been in use from 1842, built in classicist style at the site of the chapel of the Austrian Embassy, erected in 1742. Apse decoration from 1865 when the church was officially consecrated at the 1000th anniversary of the death of St. Ansgar. Built in 1892 at 112th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan featuresThe Chapels of the Seven Tongues dedicated to immigrant groups.
